These new dry fly bungs are designed for Stillwater fishing. The designer David Johnson from Peaks Flyfishing company in England. His fly fishing friends were always saying that the Klink & Dink patterns were always being pulled under because they wanted to hang three nymphs/buzzers below. Yet they still wanted an indicator fly to have a realistic impression in the surface film. So David designed a fail safe dry fly with an impressive forehead on it and named it the Ressie Dinki. We at Caledonia Fly Company have put four patterns on barbed hooks, Big Red, Olive, Hares Ear and Black Ressie Dink all in a size 12.
